Danial Kordmodanlou is a Master’s student in Computer Science at York University’s Lassonde School of Engineering, currently working in the BioMotion Lab (Jan 2024–present). His research focuses on Virtual Reality systems for 3D character animation, facial expression tracking, and motion capture, using tools such as Unity3D, Unreal Engine, and Apple’s ARKit. He contributes to the Sway VR project, helping to separate stereopsis from motion parallax in depth perception studies. Danial’s broader interests include game development, AI, computer vision, and immersive system design, with technical expertise in real-time animation, spatial tracking, and interactive applications. He is also the creator of DigiHuman, an open-source animation system with 500+ GitHub stars, and continues to explore real-time facial tracking, pose estimation, and immersive system optimization through open-source and industry collaboration.🔗 danial-kord.github.io
